About RigMe

Most rig instructions online are either a blurry photo or a wall of text written for a lake three thousand kilometres away. RigMe is built to fix that: every rig gets a clean diagram drawn to the same convention, a parts list with real sizes, numbered tying steps, how to fish it, what people get wrong, and the regulation notes that matter in Canada — bait zones, lead restrictions, hook limits and seasons.

The site is written for Canadian freshwater fishing, from Great Lakes smallmouth to prairie walleye to Shield pike and Laurentian brook trout, but the rigs work anywhere the fish do.

How we make money

Rig kits link to Amazon and other retailers; when you buy through those links we earn a small commission at no cost to you. Guides and charters can pay for featured placement, which is always labelled. We do not sell tackle and no manufacturer pays for a mention in a rig guide.

Corrections

Seasons and rules change every year and vary by zone. If something here is out of date or wrong for your water, email hello@rigme.com and we'll fix it.
